How do I become a member?
Contact us to express your interest, download the application form, and attend an Information Morning.
What are the membership fees?
The joining fee is $40.00, with an annual subscription of $80.00 or a half-year subscription of $40.00.
What activities are available to members?
Members can participate in a variety of activities, including art, culture, sports, and social events.
Can I join SWIC if I'm new to the city?
Absolutely! SWIC is a great way to meet new people and explore your new city.
Can I join SWIC if I'm new to the city? Is there a corporate membership option?
No, SWIC offers individual memberships only.
How often are new member events held?
New Member Lunches and Neighbourhood Morning Teas are held regularly to welcome new members.
What is the SWIC Magazine?
The SWIC Magazine is published bi-annually in March and September. It recaps past events and includes interesting articles written by and about our members. The magazine is mailed to members and available on the Noticeboard under 'What’s On'.
Can I attend events before becoming a member?
Prospective members are welcome to attend an Information Morning to learn more about SWIC. However, participation in regular activities and events is reserved for members.
Are there any evening or weekend activities?
Yes, SWIC offers some evening and weekend activities to accommodate members with different schedules. Check our activities list for more details.
