SPECIAL EVENTS & ACTIVITIES – SWIC NEEDS YOUR HELP

One-off events and activities

We know you’re active and engaged with what’s happening in Sydney. Why not organise a SWIC group to join you at an event you’re participating in this year? Sharing the experience with a SWIC group gives you a great opportunity to build existing friendships and form new ones within our social community.

If you wish to arrange a one-off event, please complete the ‘Events Calendar & Notices Template, which can be found on the SWIC website, and email it to Pauline Waugh, our Events & Activities Team coordinator: [email protected].

You can also ring one of the Events & Activities team to discuss your idea. They will explain the protocols and steps you need to take, and help you to publicise and organise your event – and maybe help on the day, if needed.

Ongoing interest groups

We’d also love to hear from you if you have an idea for a new interest group or activity you’d like to convene.

In this instance, please email our Convenor Liaison, Anita Holmberg, at [email protected] or call her on 0409131262 to share your ideas. She will work with you to put it into our website calendar and advise you on the next steps.
